Job SummaryUK Power Networks is seeking a skilled Logistics HIAB Driver to join our team. As a Logistics HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of materials to sites across the network.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Deliver materials to sites as directed by the Distribution Centre management team.
- Ensure that delivery locations are maintained to the highest standards.
- Assist the Distribution Centre team with any aspect of the operation to aid the delivery of materials.
- Facilitate good communication with internal customers.
- Ensure high standards of safety and compliance with Health and Safety policies in all activities.
- Report any defects or hazards to ensure that equipment is fit for purpose.
- Safe loading and unloading of materials using Material Handling Equipment.
- Drive company vehicles in a responsible and conscientious manner.
- Challenge others not following the correct or safest procedures.
- Take personal responsibility for your own health and safety and for others.
- Report all near misses and deal with hazards to create a harm-free workplace.
- HGV Class I or II Licence holder.
- Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Sub Station Entry (including First Aid).
- FLT Certificate for this role.
- Slinging and Signalling qualification.
- Allmi qualified Vehicle Mounted Lorry Loader operation.
As a Logistics HIAB Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced Distribution Centre environment, interacting with colleagues and internal customers to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of materials.
