Therapeutic Lead Specialist

At Compass Community, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and support to nearly 2,000 children and young people through our fostering, residential homes, and education services. Our therapeutic services have a proven track record of success in addressing complex trauma, with hundreds of young people benefiting from our Assessing and Healing Complex Trauma (AHCT) approach.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Therapeutic Pastoral Lead to join our team, working systemically with our Education Service to ensure that children, young people, and staff receive outstanding levels of therapeutic intervention, guidance, and training. This is a part-time role, based in a designated school, with the potential for increased hours up to 40 per week depending on service demands.
- A good delivery of training style for small groups of staff.
- Active, energetic, creative, outgoing, and empathic character.
- Good Communicator and Fluent English speaking.
- Experience of running groups with young people.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 qualification in Management or equivalent, with at least two years' experience working with children with SEMH needs and complex trauma.
