Job Summary
We are seeking an EHS Business Partner to join our team at Autolus Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal EHS management system requirements. This is a full-time onsite position primarily based in our site in Stevenage.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company's EHS management system.
Create and collaborate on EHS policies, procedures, and processes.
Ensure accidents, incidents, near-misses, and safety observations are recorded, investigated, and any corrective or preventative actions are implemented.
Work closely with the engineering and facilities teams in the management of contractors, including reviewing RAMS, PQQ, and PtW.
Provide EHS guidance and support to all areas of the business, including production and projects.
Conduct or organize relevant EHS training for staff as required, including first aid and fire safety.

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role or environment.
Good knowledge and understanding of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and other legislation relevant to the business.
Experience of working in a GxP environment.
Good understanding of COSHH, including Biosafety.
Experience in working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent level 3 health and safety qualification.
NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent level 6 health and safety qualification.
Technical Member of IOSH (TechIOSH) or above.
Associate Member of IEMA (AIEMA) or above.
ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Internal Auditor.

Skills and Knowledge
Professional in their approach and able to communicate clearly and confidently with people at all levels.
First-class interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Positive, can-do attitude, focused on looking for solutions and improvements.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Proficiency to plan and prioritize work with the minimum of supervision, working independently or as part of a team.
Competent user of IT applications such as Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, and Teams.
