Trusts and Foundations Manager

Percival is proud to partner with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to find a talented Trusts and Foundations Manager to join their dedicated Fundraising team.

The DEC is a coalition of 15 leading humanitarian charities that come together to respond to major global crises. Through national appeals, they raise vital funds to provide emergency aid in disaster-affected areas, helping to save lives and rebuild communities. With the combined expertise of its member organizations, the DEC ensures that aid reaches those most in need during times of crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, solicit, and develop relationships with trusts and foundations to secure funding for DEC appeals and core costs.
  • Develop and execute stewardship strategies to retain long-term relationships with trusts and foundations.
  • Prepare compelling funding proposals and presentations tailored to trust and foundation audiences.

About the Role:

This is a new post developed as part of the DEC's 2024-2029 strategy to increase funds raised for both DEC appeals and the DEC Secretariat's core costs. The successful candidate will have a track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts from trusts and foundations.
