Academic Staff Position - Computing Department

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Academic Staff Member to join our computing department at Regent College London.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach and contribute to the development of our computing programs, working closely with students, colleagues, and external partners.

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum.

Location: Our campuses in Central London, Holborn, Wembley, Kingsbury, and Southall.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about computing education, has excellent communication skills, and can inspire our students to achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

This is a challenging role that requires both teaching and research expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality learning materials, conducting research, and contributing to the growth of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Teach computing modules, develop course materials, and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Research and Scholarship: Conduct research, publish papers, and engage in scholarly activities.
  • Student Support: Provide pastoral support, monitor student progress, and signpost them to relevant resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to program evaluations, engage in scholarship activities, and participate in quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in a relevant subject area, experience in teaching or research, and proficiency in using digital tools to support learning.
