We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ophthalmology Specialist to join our team at Hawke's Bay Hospital. As a Senior Ophthalmology Registrar or Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong focus on excellent teaching and comprehensive training.

The successful applicant will have the ability to manage eye care clinics independently and will be responsible for managing acute ophthalmology clinics. Training will also encompass various ophthalmic laser procedures.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• A medical degree and relevant postgraduate qualifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range:

$140,000 - $160,000 per annum
