As Strategic Financial Insights Analyst on the MMA Data & Analytics team, you'll use expertise in data analysis, accounting principles, and financial reporting to support informed decision-making within investment and business strategies.

You will partner with various stakeholders, working closely with Finance Department along with technical teams. This ensures accurate translation of requirements into solutions, while maintaining accuracy, validity, and security of both source data and results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Development and maintenance of financial reporting tools for divisional finance and leadership teams
  • Leading comprehensive company-wide analyses, delivering critical financial insights, and supporting informed decision-making through accurate financial data
  • Working as a finance liaison with several departments, providing monthly P&L Analysis, management reporting, and variance explanations
  • Preparing ad hoc analysis and leading various other reporting projects like AMS, Anomaly detection, Department merge, SOX audits, Finance Data conversions including decision support, metrics, and analytics

Additional skills required:

  • 12+ years Accounting and Financial Analytics, relational database management, data modeling, and/or data warehouse
  • Business intelligence and visualization tools like Power BI, QlikSense, Hyperion Essbase
  • Writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
