Job Summary

Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting software solutions using Java and Angular technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Design and Development: Design and develop software solutions using Java and Angular technologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable code.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems of basic complexity, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring system stability.
  • Code Review and Improvement: Review and improve code quality, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of software solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve software solutions and processes.
Requirements
  • Formal Training or Certification: Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and applied experience.
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Programming Languages: Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages, including Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, and REST.
  • Software Development Life Cycle: Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Agile Methodologies: Exposure to agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Modern Frontend Technologies: Must have experience with modern frontend technologies, including Angular, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Cloud Technologies: Exposure to cloud technologies, including AWS, with hands-on experience in building microservices that run on the bank's internal cloud and public cloud platform.
