About the Role:

This Teaching Assistant role provides a unique opportunity to work in a South Gloucestershire school, supporting 2 students with Autism, both of whom are mostly non-verbal and require enthusiastic attention.

">

The ideal candidate will have early years work experience and be able to support students with communication strategies and interventions to aid their speech and language development.

">

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with communication strategies and interventions">
  • Working with two students within a KS1 class throughout the week">

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs">
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks">
  • Available to work 5 days a week (Mon - Fri), term time only (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)">
