Finance Director Opportunity at Futures Manufacturing

Futures Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join their senior leadership team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for optimizing the company's financial performance and strategic position.

The successful candidate will have excellent people management, leadership, and influencing skills, as well as a proven track record of financial performance. This is a challenging role that requires significant operational input on a daily basis, and you will be expected to contribute to company strategy by providing accurate financial insight and input.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounting department and oversee daily financial operations to support the business
  • Contribute to company strategy by providing accurate financial insight and input
  • Evaluate business opportunities and prepare all necessary accounts and reports
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting, and assume a place on the Senior Management Team
  • Regularly review accounting processes to ensure they support the needs of a complex manufacturing business
  • Carry out financial modeling and set and achieve short and long-term financial objectives
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge and experience within manufacturing industries
  • A good understanding and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP) and Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs)
  • Experience of Corporation Tax and Personal Tax
  • Experience of working in a fast-growing company with ambitious growth plans
