Job Title: Retirement Housing Scheme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Scheme Manager to join our Retirement Housing Team at IRIS-Networx Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering a proactive and responsive service to tenants living in retirement housing, enabling them to maintain their independence, health, and quality of life.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the needs of older people and experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or older people. You will be responsible for facilitating effective joint working with external agencies to maximise tenant welfare and encouraging tenant involvement in social activities and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out assessments and identify needs of tenants
  • Develop and implement plans to support tenants in maintaining their independence and health
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies to provide a comprehensive service to tenants
  • Encourage tenant involvement in social activities and the wider community
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services provided
Requirements
  • Good understanding of the needs of older people
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or older people
  • Experience of partnership working with other agencies
  • Knowledge of the welfare benefits system
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team
  • Good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
