Key Responsibilities:
  • L&D: Review and evaluate current L&D processes, make recommendations, and develop a comprehensive L&D strategy.
  • Design and deliver training programs, including Leadership & Management training, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party providers.
  • Manage apprenticeship programs, ensuring appropriate selection and maintaining the Apprentice Levy account.
HR:
  • Work closely with the People Director to implement and embed the People Strategy across all areas.
  • Provide support and advice on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with legal and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current legislation and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in L&D or HR, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
  • Strong management experience, mentoring, and supporting similar teams.
  • Ability to travel to different sites and maintain visibility across the business.
  • Capability to deliver training sessions in-person and virtually.
  • Proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders across a diverse business.
