Job Title: Food Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Wirral

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Technician to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. As a Food Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Food department within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Food Technology Teacher to ensure that Health and Safety regulations are met.
  • Prepare and resource lessons to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Food department, including cleaning and organization.
  • Collaborate with the school's administration team to ensure that all necessary paperwork and records are up to date.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, teachers, and other school staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school environment (advantageous)
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
