Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a van for the delivery of goods to various locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during driving operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Van Driver or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Working Hours

This is a PM shift starting at 2pm and continuing till all deliveries have been completed (usually around 10pm). Monday to Friday with some weekend shifts.

Pay

Monday to Friday: £12.50

Saturdays: £16.50

Sundays: £18.75
