About the Role

As a Food Preparation Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing, setting up, serving, clearing, cleaning, and storing away food, beverages, and equipment required for special functions. You will also prepare basic food for sale/service, following good hygiene and safety practices and to the standard specified.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up food and beverages for special functions.
  • Prepare basic food for sale/service, adhering to company food standards and minimizing wastage.
  • Ensure that all food preparation and service areas are clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Be prepared to work occasionally on evenings and weekends for functions and school events.
  • Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures.
What We're Looking For
  • Team working abilities, listening skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Impeccable personal presentation, hygiene, and behavior towards others.
  • Ability to demonstrate a reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate a reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
