Job Title: Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiac rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for delivering exercise programs to patients with cardiac conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver exercise programs for patients with cardiac conditions, including group and individual sessions.
  • Conduct health assessments and screenings for patients referred to our cardiac rehabilitation program.
  • Collaborate with our cardiac rehabilitation psychologist and specialist nurses to provide comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our exercise programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of exercise programs, adhering to departmental and trust policies.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in exercise physiology, physiotherapy, or a related field.
  • Experience working with patients with cardiac conditions and delivering exercise programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
