Main Responsibilities

The role of the Advanced Clinical Practitioner is to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and patient-centred practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, examinations, and diagnostic tests, as well as diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions in patients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting clinical assessments, examinations, and diagnostic tests
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions in patients
  • Prescribing medications and treatment plans in line with scope of practice
  • Providing expert advice, education, and support to patients and families
  • Collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care

About the Practice

Ash Grove Medical Centre is a large GP practice with 13,000 patients, rated 'Good' by the CQC. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and are looking for a skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with our GP partners and healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care. They will be expected to contribute to improving patient outcomes and ensuring the smooth delivery of care in the surgery.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner with a strong clinical assessment and decision-making ability. The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree qualification in clinical practice and be registered as a healthcare practitioner.
