About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Education Counsellor and Mentor to join our team at WhereToTalk. As a key member of our pastoral team, you will play a vital role in promoting the emotional wellbeing and academic success of our students.

Job Description

You will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide tailored support and interventions that address the diverse needs of our student population. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that promote positive attitudes and approaches to lifelong learning.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Counselling/Psychotherapy is essential

• Relevant experience of supporting young people within a secondary school setting is desirable

Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will work 9 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, and will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £5,692 - £6,914 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a range of employee benefits.
