Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Duty Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for motivating employees, determining market potential, and participating in company meetings to shape the overall growth and strategy of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate employees by communicating company directives and utilizing the company mission statement.
  • Determine market potential proactively and suggest localized product, visual, and marketing strategies to Upper Management.
  • Participate in company meetings and contribute to the overall growth and strategy of the business.
  • Provide staff with training to increase their knowledge base and maintain productivity through cross-training techniques.
  • Abide by legal requirements to maintain a stable store and reputation.
  • Observe client/employee interactions and offer constructive feedback to enhance sales and customer service.
  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate work results while coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff to maintain performance.
  • Analyze and decipher trends to facilitate planning.
  • Utilize technology to analyze data, track sales, and make future plans.
  • Address staffing issues through interviews and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain an active presence on the sales floor, engaging with co-workers and customers, and resolving urgent issues.
  • Establish a productive sales and performance culture for all employees.
  • Conduct performance reviews with all team members frequently.
  • Ensure store compliance with policy, procedure, and legal standards, achieving operational excellence in all areas.
  • Optimize personnel levels and rotas to maximize staffing budgets in-store.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by Upper Management.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of retail management experience is essential.
  • Excellent multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Enthusiasm, passion, and dedication to the brand, with empathy for the needs and perspectives of others.
