About the Job

As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will play a vital part in supporting the Horizon Europe-funded BroilerNet project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings and design facilitation training programs for the Broiler Innovation Network Facilitators.
  • Collate network data and write reports to ensure effective project management.
  • Engage with European partners and stakeholders to facilitate communication and dissemination.
  • Conduct research into the process and outcomes of BroilerNet, adhering to RAU ethical guidelines and project requirements.
  • Present findings at meetings, conferences, and dissemination events, and write up results for publication.

Your Qualifications

  • A PhD or equivalent qualification in social science, agricultural science (livestock), or communication science.
  • In-depth knowledge of qualitative research methodologies, such as participatory action research.
  • Experience conducting qualitative research methods, including interviews and focus groups.
  • Practical experience in peer-to-peer facilitation, preferably in an agricultural context.
  • Advanced digital skills for organizing and facilitating online meetings.
  • A track record of writing reports for technical and lay audiences.

Our Benefits

This role offers an attractive salary range of £28,759-£33,965 pro rata for 0.5 hours per week, reflecting our commitment to supporting your career growth.
