About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Facilities Manager to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, contributing to a safe and efficient environment for our staff and clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule to optimize the performance of all building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance for the facility's structure and fixtures.
- Maintain meticulous records of planned maintenance activities, test results, and service certifications.
- Ensure adherence to safe working practices when operating hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
- Conduct regular PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) on electrical equipment to comply with relevant regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar facilities management role.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
- A strong understanding of IT systems and software applications.
