Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Sierra 57 Consult Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients in the plastics industry, identifying business opportunities, and negotiating and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new clients and develop strategies to increase business with existing customers
  • Plan and execute sales calls to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Research and build relationships with new clients, identifying decision-makers and developing proposals that meet their needs
  • Collaborate with the machine sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
  • Handle objections and present new products and services to enhance existing relationships
  • Manage incoming orders, procurement, and delivery of products, as well as unit inventory and loan/trial units
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sales Engineer or Sales Manager with a technical product range in the plastics industry
  • Proven experience working in plastics manufacturing or plastics precision engineering or ancillaries supplying to the plastics industry
  • Commercial awareness, public speaking skills, and motivation for sales with strong prospecting, planning, and closing skills
  • Market knowledge, experience using CRM databases, and IT awareness
