We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Capital Allowances Expert to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure consulting firm, you will be responsible for delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject, such as quantity surveying, and relevant professional qualifications like RICS or ATT. They will also possess strong technical skills and experience in property surveys, capital allowances claims, and HMRC guidance.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global infrastructure firm and contribute to the development of our capabilities in service areas like land remediation relief, VAT, and international depreciation.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake technical assessments of projects to ensure valid claims can be made
  • Prepare compliant capital allowances claims using in-house software
  • Manage multiple claims for corporate clients
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and colleagues to optimize claims and meet deadlines
  • Support claims during HMRC enquiries
  • Attend meetings and build effective working relationships to develop new business opportunities
