Care Worker

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team at one of the UK's leading National Charities, specializing in providing Therapeutic care, education, and treatment to vulnerable children and young people.
About the RoleAs a Support Worker, you will be working with a reputable care provider in the area, benefiting from ongoing training and support to ensure your success in the role. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to the Team Leader in maintaining a therapeutic environment, assisting and supervising a staff team, and ensuring the emotional, physical, and developmental needs of the children are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to the Team Leader to ensure a therapeutic environment is maintained
- Assist and supervise a staff team
- Ensure the emotional, physical, and developmental needs of the children are met
- Display yourself as an appropriate role model
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy, and resilience
- NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care, or proven experience working in a children's home
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Starting salary of £26,272 - £26,896 plus sleep-ins
- Full-time contract
- 28 days annual leave
