We are seeking an experienced Machinist - Woodworking Department to join our team at Venatu Recruitment Group. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC woodworking machinery to produce high-quality custom wood components.

Package Details:

  • Salary: £26,364 - £31,434 per annum, based on experience
  • Annual Leave: 32 days, including bank holidays
  • Benefits Package: Westfield Health cover and company pension scheme
  • Overtime Opportunities: Guaranteed 5 hours per week paid at time and a quarter

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
  • Maintain efficient, precise, and safe machining processes
  • Collaborate with designers and team members to optimize production processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC wood machinist
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, particularly SCM Maestro
  • Strong understanding of woodworking materials and machining techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
