Childcare Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Childcare Manager to join our team at Elmscot Group. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our nursery, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care and education to children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring that all aspects of care and education are delivered to a high standard.
  • To lead and motivate the nursery team, ensuring that they have the skills, knowledge, and support needed to provide high-quality care and education to children.
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the well-being and development of children, staff, and parents.
  • To work closely with parents and carers to build strong relationships and ensure that their needs are met.
  • To manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring that the nursery operates within financial constraints.

Requirements:

  • Minimum level 3 in early years or equivalent qualification
  • 3+ years experience in a nursery management role
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted framework
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and carers

Salary:

£38,000 - £48,000 per annum
