Purpose of Role:
This role is a senior position in the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team and supports the Energy & Emissions Manager in the provision of principally the energy transition of the UK business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Energy & Emissions Manager in the development and delivery of the UK Business Units climate change and energy transition commitments, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement energy-efficient solutions, reducing the company's carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, to ensure effective communication and buy-in on energy transition initiatives.
- Provide expert advice on energy management, emissions reduction, and sustainability best practices to inform business decisions and drive positive change.
Requirements and Competencies:
- Proven experience in energy management, emissions reduction, and sustainability, with a strong understanding of the UK business environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing business needs.
