Job Title: Senior Ecologist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to lead projects and mentor junior staff in a well-established consultancy. The ideal candidate will have strong botanical skills, experience in protected species surveys, and project management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead botanical and protected species surveys
• Manage projects from start to finish, liaising with clients and statutory bodies
• Produce reports (Ecological Assessments, EIAs)
• Mentor junior staff

Requirements:

• Strong botanical skills (UKHab/NVC)
• Experience in protected species surveys (Protected Species Licences)
• Project management experience
• Full driving licence
