Job Title: Medical Imaging Expert

We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Expert to join our team at the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services in accordance with Radiation Regulations and departmental protocols and procedures.

You will work within the Radiology Directorate of the Cardiff and Vale UHB, based at University Hospital of Wales (UHW), with occasional rotations to other sites within the UHB.

About the Role

This role involves working in the general radiography service with a rotation into Nuclear Medicine and the PET/CT service. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the work of other qualified staff, assistants, and students
  • Provide comprehensive and effective day-to-day services within the Radiology Directorate
Requirements
  • Professional Registration (HCPC)
  • BSc (Hons) or equivalent
  • Appropriate Qualification
  • Excellent clinical, communication, supervisory, organisational, teaching, presentation, research skills
Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: £43,141 - £72,692 per annum

dependent on experience and qualifications.
