About the Role
As a Senior Remediation Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing remediation plans based on environmental assessments and regulatory requirements. You will define project scope, budget, timeline, and resources needed, and coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, environmental consultants, and subcontractors. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines, and track project progress and prepare reports for clients and regulatory bodies. Identify potential risks and hazards on-site, and provide training and oversight to ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities
Develop remediation plans based on environmental assessments and regulatory requirements
Define project scope, budget, timeline, and resources needed
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, environmental consultants, and subcontractors
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines
Track project progress and prepare reports for clients and regulatory bodies
Identify potential risks and hazards on-site
Provide training and oversight to ensure proper handling of hazardous materials
Requirements
Experienced Project Manager with significant knowledge and understanding of a wide range of contaminated land remediation projects
Excellent understanding of Health and Safety requirements, and industry legislation and regulations, ensuring projects are legally compliant
Awareness and understanding of operational and financial targets
Ability to present, analyse and interpret data
IT skills – MS Office suite
Full driving licence a necessity
