Reliability Engineer

Müller UK & Ireland is a leading dairy company with a strong presence in the UK market. We are currently seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team in Telford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standard and optimized to deliver efficiency targets.
  • Diagnose faults and develop corrective action plans using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Work with operators and shift technicians to identify and implement standard equipment settings through effective trials.
  • Lead and participate in safety-related activities such as near miss reporting and corrective actions.
  • Optimize spend through delivery of available and efficient filling lines.
  • Focus on energy efficiency to optimize and deliver annual targets.
  • Reduce filling waste and improve line and factory efficiency targets.
  • Deliver PM targets and corrective actions % versus plan.
  • Meet required standards in relation to Engineering GMP and food safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Multi-skilled electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Strong engineering qualifications and background.
  • BTEC Level 3 (ONC) essential.
  • Knowledge in areas of filling technology.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of complex fast-moving clean environments (24/7- short life products).
  • Strong technical bias and experience in standardizing processes and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, communication, and organizing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Good knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Action-oriented with ability to drive and achieve challenging goals.
  • Good team working skills and ability to work well individually.
