Lead Science Educator

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Science Teacher to join our dynamic Science department at a highly reputable secondary school in Lambeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
About the Role:
- Plan and deliver effective Science lessons that cater to the needs of students across different age groups.
- Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set challenging targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- A strong understanding of the Science curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
