Company Overview:

Frasers Group, a £4bn turnover PLC, is seeking highly analytical and forward-thinking interns to join their Finance team at Shirebrook Head Office.

This finance placement will provide an unforgettable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, offering a superb introduction to finance, accounting, and data analysis within the operational business.

The Role:

  • Working alongside Junior Accountants, you will be exposed to different areas within Finance: Management accounts, FP&A, and Group Reporting.
  • You will be involved in understanding and improving cost reporting through departments to provide further insight and support business unit decision-making.
  • Supporting financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Processing accounting entries and recharges within UK Group subsidiaries ensuring completion of month-end processes.
  • Ad-hoc project analysis to support significant investments or business acquisitions.

Qualifications:

  • Future ambitions of completing ACCA/CIMA (study support provided).
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
