Vacancy for User Researcher at Digital Preservation Coalition

We are committed to delivering high-quality digital services that collect, preserve, and provide access to our digital collections. Our goal is to develop services that meet the needs of our users, including researchers, journalists, government officials, and the public.

We are seeking an enthusiastic user researcher to join our team. In this role, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver products that widen access to our digital collections. Your ability to analyze and evaluate research findings will help us build a rich picture of our audiences and their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to inform the development of digital services
  • Analyze and evaluate research findings to reveal actionable insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-centered design solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure user needs are met

Requirements:

  • Strong research skills and ability to analyze complex data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Commitment to user-centered design and digital preservation
