At Rocket Staffing, we are seeking a skilled and experienced TIG Welder to join our team based in Corby. As part of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality Stainless Steel and commercial trailers and rigid bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality TIG welding on steel and aluminum components for trailers and rigid bodies.
  • Work from technical drawings and specifications to execute precise welds.
  • Collaborate with fabricators and engineers to meet production goals and client specifications.
  • Ensure all welds meet the highest standards of safety and industry compliance.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment as needed.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, utilizing your TIG welding expertise to ensure precision and durability. We offer competitive pay rates, including a starting salary of £15 per hour, with an increase to £18 per hour after 3 months based on performance.

Additionally, we provide overtime rates of £25 per hour (Mon-Sat) and £30 per hour (Sundays and Bank Holidays), as well as call-out pay of £100 per call-out, regardless of duration or nature. Our full-time, permanent position offers opportunities for career growth within a leading company.

To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in TIG welding, especially working with steel and aluminum. You should also have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and possess strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
