The National Squash Centre is seeking a skilled Squash Coach to support the delivery of the squash programme at various locations across Manchester. As a Squash Coach, you will be responsible for providing high-quality coaching sessions to implement good practices, progression, and teaching points.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering junior squash, school squash, school holiday camps, and events
  • Implementing good practices, progression, and teaching points
  • Ensuring the safety and control of pupils within coaching sessions
  • Reporting to the Head Squash Coach with ideas to grow the squash programme
  • Ensuring relevant administration procedures are completed, including registers and lesson plans

Requirements include:

  • England Squash Coaching qualification (Level 1 and upwards)
  • England Squash Enhanced DBS
  • Safeguarding certificate (valid within 3 years)
  • First aid certificate (valid within 3 years)
  • Good knowledge of squash
  • Desirable previous experience of attending coach-led sessions
