About the Role
\This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Research Technician to join our team at the University of Exeter.
\We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support research into the behavior and evolutionary genetics of fish. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing experiments to collect behavioral data from fish and aquatic invertebrates in the laboratory, as well as managing fish breeding experiments and assisting with animal care and husbandry.

About You
\We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual who possesses a first degree or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study. The ideal candidate will have experience working with animals in a scientific context and be able to design and implement studies of animal behavior.
\Prior experience with fish would be beneficial, as would prior experience of working under Home Office license under ASPA. Prior experience of genetic techniques (e.g., DNA extraction) would be advantageous but is not essential.
\Key Skills and Qualifications
\- First degree or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study.\
- Experience working with animals in a scientific context.\
- Ability to design and implement studies of animal behavior.\
- Prior experience with fish (advantageous).\
- Prior experience of working under Home Office license under ASPA (advantageous).\
