Job Summary:
MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at a Distribution Centre in the Manton Wood area. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Public Interaction: Deal with members of the public in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all security procedures are carried out as required.
- Visitor Management: Greet visitors and ensure that they are processed through our security systems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Incident Reporting: Write accurate and detailed incident reports in a timely manner, and provide a visible and high-profile security presence on site.
- Security Systems: Have a good understanding of security systems, including alarms and CCTV, and be able to respond to and deal with any issues that may arise.
- Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure that all areas are secure and that any potential security risks are identified and mitigated.
- Emergency Response: Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
- Contractor Management: Deal with contractors and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all security procedures are carried out as required.
Requirements:
- Initiative: Be able to work on your own initiative and make decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Work History: Have a full 5-year checkable work/education history.
- SIA Licence: Hold a valid SIA DS or SG licence.
- Driving Licence: Hold a full driving licence.
