We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker specialising in thin gauge aluminium to join our team at Matchtech. This role involves fabricating and assembling sheet metal products using hand tools rather than automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products with precision using thin gauge aluminium.
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines and hand tools to cut, bend, and straighten metal materials.
  • Shape sheet metal over anvils, blocks, or custom forms, ensuring accurate dimensions and smooth finishes.
  • Inspect, assemble, and smooth seams and joints of welded, brazed, or burred surfaces for a flawless end product.
  • Support the training of new employees or less experienced team members as required.
