About the Role

Fugro is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our Metocean Measurements team in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, testing, and preparation of Metocean equipment and the building of systems. You will work to strict Health and Safety standards and be required to write technical documentation and reports, adhering to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and testing of Metocean equipment
  • Preparation of equipment for deployment
  • Building of systems to meet project requirements
  • Writing technical documentation and reports
  • Adhering to company procedures and Health and Safety standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Oceanography, Science, Instrumentation, Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the marine industry, preferably in a similar role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with offshore, onshore, and client personnel
  • Experience in oil and gas, ocean science, renewables, and/or survey industries
