Job Title: Bookkeeper for Chartered Accountants

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team of chartered accountants in Uckfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering bookkeeping services, preparing VAT returns, and contributing to our wider services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver bookkeeping services to a variety of clients across different industries and turnovers.
  • Prepare VAT returns and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Contribute to our wider services, including payroll and CIS.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly experienced Bookkeeper with a strong background in bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll. You will have at least 2-5 years of experience in an accountancy practice environment and be AAT qualified or have equivalent experience.

Benefits:
  • A highly competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 FTE, negotiable.
  • Part-time position with flexible working hours.
