Job Overview
eInfochips, part of Arrow Electronics, is a global technology provider specializing in product engineering and software R&D services. As a Power Electronics Design Engineer, you will design and develop a range of DC-DC (1000VDC) and AC-DC converters for Aerospace, Automotive and Defence applications.

About the Role
You will work with customers to understand and agree on technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing DC-DC, AC-DC and DC-AC power converters using simulations and then generating schematic capture, PCB layout and BOMs. You will also perform design DVT and validation, create documentation for engineering to production handover, and support released designs and NPI activities. Additionally, you will design, specify and test products to regulatory standards including EMC, Environmental, Shock, Vibration, Surges and Safety.

About You
We are looking for a highly skilled Power Electronics Design Engineer with a Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience working on voltages up to 1000VDC and AC mains is required. You should have a good understanding of safety standards for power converters, analysis and simulation of power electronics systems using tools such as Matlab, PSpice principals, and high-reliability design, including redundancy and fault tolerance.
