About the Role

We are seeking experienced Radiation Therapists to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitaha Canterbury. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and recording radiation treatment accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality radiation treatment to patients
  • Assist with the clinical training and ongoing clinical assessment of Radiation Therapy students
  • Develop and maintain technical skills in radiation treatment planning and delivery
  • Collaborate with the clinical tutor to ensure quality outcomes and patient-centered care

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for registration as a Radiation Therapist by the Medical Radiation Technologists Board of New Zealand
  • Strong technical skills in radiation treatment planning and delivery
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
