Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our electrical network projects, ensuring safe, profitable, and timely delivery of high-quality networks for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple teams and execute project management duties to build team and customer confidence.
  • Efficiently execute project management roles on multiple projects, overseeing tasks and task types allocated to others.
  • Appraise direct reports regularly to develop their skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Organize, control, and deploy materials, equipment, and labor resources for upcoming works on multiple projects.
  • Ensure good commercial awareness and completion of valuations against a set scope.
  • Produce as-built records, test results, updated drawings, and reports for projects.

Requirements:

  • HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering (and/or time served)
  • Good operational knowledge of electrical power distribution systems
  • Site safety passport and/or experience of working on CDM sites
  • SSSTS OR SMSTS is desirable, not essential
  • Possession of SSE DNO authorisation to receive and cancel PTW (or alternative equivalent DNO authorisation)
