Capital Delivery Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Capital Delivery Programme Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of public spaces in Tower Hamlets, including parks, play areas, and sports facilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the programme manager to deliver a pipeline of capital works at exceptional value for money. They will also be responsible for suggesting priorities for investment over the coming years.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting effective project management and delivery of the capital delivery programme, undertaking work of a complex nature across various disciplines at both corporate and service levels.
  • Leading on project activities, including workshops to build positive relationships with key stakeholders to achieve the council's objectives for the capital delivery projects.
  • Producing regular progress reports to the Mayor, Councillors, the Chief Executive, Corporate Directors, Project Team, Project Board, and Council and Cabinet Meetings on relevant workstreams within the project.
