As an integral part of our Engineering & Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting purchasing and procurement activities. About the Role

This position requires excellent organisational skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a collaborative approach to ensure optimal supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities

- Utilise Sage 200 to place and track orders, ensuring accurate and timely procurement processes.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives by sourcing competitive quotes and selecting suitable suppliers.
- Keep Project Leads informed of any delays or lead-time issues, ensuring clear communication on order statuses.
- Collaborate with the Project Team and Operations Manager to align on order progress and address potential issues.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Buyer (preferably an Engineering Buyer).
- Experience using SAGE 200 is highly advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills are essential for success in this role.
