Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Senploy. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary and secondary environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and/or Autism
  • Provide education and emotional support to all learners within the school
  • Work with other staff members to ensure pupil's progress is monitored and adjusted to meet the pupil's needs
  • Be confident in your approach when engaging with learners with SEMH and/or Autism

Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting young people with SEMH and/or Autism
  • Previous experience in a support working, caring, or SEN role
  • Graduates looking to get into the Education setting
  • Experience in supporting pupils in a specialist provision
