Job Title: Toolroom Supervisor

Job Summary:
Listgrove is seeking an experienced Toolroom Supervisor to manage the tool room and its staff at a UK manufacturer of plastic moulded products. The ideal candidate will possess good practical knowledge and experience of working and leading a tool room in a fast moving, high volume, moulding plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide leadership and support to the tool room team to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of tooling.
  2. Collaborate with planning and production to prioritize activities and meet business requirements.
  3. Attend tooling related breakdowns and quality concerns to minimize downtime.
  4. Log all repairs and maintain a historical database for reference purposes.
  5. Support training and mentorship of team members as needed.
  6. Liaise with tool manufacturers and the local plant team to support new product introduction activities.

Requirements:
  1. A Levels, ONC, City & Guilds level 3, BTec National Diploma Level 3, IVQ Technician Diploma, NVQ level 3.
  2. Experience working with CNC, Lathe, Grinders Milling machines and Spark eroders.
  3. Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel, Word, CAD, and Solidworks.
  4. Experience with packages such as SAP and MATTEC is desirable.
  5. Understanding of design and production costs, including waste, downtime, scrap, and re-work.
