Production Coordinator Job Description

CV Library is seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our team in Basildon, South Essex. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Production Planning: Review production orders to set start and target completion dates, ensuring timely delivery of products.
  2. Documentation Management: Work with the drawing office and electrical design department to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation is available for all production orders.
  3. Material Management: Identify outstanding materials and expedite shortages with the purchasing team to minimize delays.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the projects team, manufacturing team, and other departments to monitor project progress and ensure effective communication.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in a similar role within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
