The Role

As a Scientific Director at Prime, you will provide scientific and communication support in scientific affairs and communication to existing accounts. You will be responsible for supporting new business development and assisting in the organic growth of existing accounts by identifying gaps in services or product offerings.

You will lead the provision of scientific input with clients and accounts, working with the team to ensure client communication strategies are understood and actioned. You will develop account strategies and plans, attend workshops, and support the delivery of meetings, including meeting facilitation when required.

Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in healthcare agency roles, with increasing seniority
  • Breadth of experience across types of projects, therapeutic areas, and client types (geographical and healthcare market mix)
  • Strong appreciation of Prime and clients' business needs, with resourcefulness in finding solutions to challenges
  • Well-developed personal and written communication skills
  • Proven interest in science, strategy, and lifecycle management
  • Experience in strategic planning and developing new business proposals/pitches
  • Experience working with extended teams across professional, operational, and cultural boundaries
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable presenting to clients, with good presentation skills
